Dear Friends,
Our own BOE member, Sister Eillen Curteis, will be having the premier showing of our new 48 minute documentary "GATEWAY TO THE DIVINE--A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY INTO REIKI HEALING" next weekend, Friday, November 7 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 8 at 2 p.m. in the Queenswood Chapel in Victoria, British Columbia.
Eileen was kind enough to send me a copy of the video to preview and I was totally "wowed" by the beautiful message that was presented. I never knew much about Reiki before reading Eileen's book "Reiki: A Spiritual Doorway to Natural Healing." This book truly made a major impression on my thinking and understanding in addition to the beautiful words about her own life.
Eileen describes the video in this way:
GATEWAY TO THE DIVINE, is a film that pays tribute to Reiki, the Spirit that animates every living thing. While celebrating that which is glorious in life, it simultaneously addresses a universal message about cosmic healing and spiritual awakening. There is an exhilarating energy in this film that takes one into the heart of God, to the Divinity within and all around. The photography is beautiful and allows the viewer to experience sheer delight through nature scenes, animal pictures and inspirational images which leaves one feeling hopeful about the human journey. In a perfect blend of eastern and western spirituality, this film provides an experience of aesthetic beauty from beginning to end.

So pleased to just hear now that the Queenswood Reiki community is continuing, with props to dear Sister Eileen Curteis, who first sheltered me from myself by caring about me with no judgment, then teaching me Reiki so many many years ago for my own healing. It was my reawakening of Spirit, of God's blessing on me, of a way to give back, and of a great miracle occurring in my life. Though I now live in Sooke I l so look forward to reconnecting with some of you!
